The wheels carry the full load of your caravan and the correct selection of the wheel is very important.
Which wheels should be fitted to the caravan?
The first thing we have to do is get the technical sheet of our trailer and observe what the manufacturer tells us.
One of the most important parameters of the wheels of the caravan is the load index.
The load index expresses the maximum load capacity (in kg) of the tyre. For example, a tire with a load index of 91 can carry a weight of 615 kg. Thus, two tires with a load index of 91 will be able to carry 1230 Kg together.
